Magazine Cover Progress One

Using the actress who will play my main character, I took some photos for my magazine front cover. I used black makeup to make her look quite creepy (this will be from the point in the trailer in which she has been possessed by some unknown force) I wanted her to look as though she fit in a thriller trailer. Here are a few examples of photos I liked:

As I am using a specific Little White Lies magazine as a template, I need to use Photoshop to make the image look as though it has been sketched, rather than a photo that has been taken. This is the template:

Magazine Cover Questionnaire Results

Magazine Cover Questionnaire

To find out what my magazine cover should consist of, I created a questionnaire to find out my target audiences opinions.
Below are two examples of filled out questionnaires.

A2 Editing Practice

To practice editing, I worked in a group with Cory and Charlene. We edited a fun animation (Finding Nemo) to some more intense music (Jaws Theme Song) and changed the mood of the overall clip. We used iMovie to do this, the final video is embedded below.

Script

The majority of my trailer will have non diegetic sound. However, in the beginning there will be some diegetic sound to vary it slightly.

For the part where the children are playing in the street I am going to have:
Erin's Dad - Erin! Time to come inside!
Erin - Bye
Other children - Bye Erin!

In my trailer, there aren't very many opportunities for diegetic sound. Whilst filming if I find another suitable space for it I will try to incorporate it.
