Filming - Four

I then had to go back out and redo one of the shots so that the way the characters mouths moved fit the voice overs I needed to record. Instead of them clapping, I had them play rock, paper, scissors and say it out loud whilst I filmed. I then had to go indoors and record them saying it again at the same speed so that they could be heard as it was too windy outdoors for the mic to pick up. I also had to record someone with a deep male voive to act as the main characters dad calling her indoors.

My trailer is almost complete, I have finished filming and editing with exception of the voiceovers for the beginning.

This is my trailer so far, I have completed my filming and now I just need to finish my editing.

Filming - Three

I decided to go back out to shoot a new end shot because I wanted the focus to be on the doll that is causing the disappearances and I wanted this to be very clear. I had the possessed character hold the doll whilst I filmed it and then using iMovie I added the clip onto the end. I then duplicated the clip and zoomed in on the doll itself using a bang sound to make the ending more jumpy and suspenseful for the audience.

Filming - Two

Today I finished the rest of my filming. I used the bleak looking weather outside to my advantage to make the streets seem eerie and creepy. I had my actors wear the same clothes as the first time round do that I would have no continuity issues.

I decided to add in a new location, a nearby park. I thought that it would a good opportunity to add in some different sounds such as the squeaking and creaking of the swing set.

I then decided to go with an older and calmer dog for the shot in which the second girl goes missing. I was having trouble keeping the other dog from getting too excited around the children and the cameras.
